SHOULD WOMEN BE ALLOWED TO GO TOPLESS IN PUBLIC?

Though some may think the idea of women going topless is awkward and uncouth for African cultures,  the reality is that most African women were freely walking topless before the colonial era and few years before our countries gained independence. No one accussed them of being naked. Infact, some tribes in Ethiopia(karo), Tanzania (Hadzarbe), and Namibia (Bushmen) just to mention few, are still going topless to date. Indeed, women going topless is the normal practice in Swaziland.  It is now being argued that …..gender discrimination is a civil rights violation, and if men are allowed to go topless in public then so should women....

The command was read at 10 consecutive roll calls. Each of the city’s 34,000 officers, in theory, got the message: For “simply exposing their breasts in public,” women are guilty of no crime. Breasts Aren't Necessarily Objects of Desire: Breasts are a sign of femininity just as much as a bare-chested man. If people are concerned with nudity for the sake of children, babies were breastfed when they were younger and should be used to breasts in general. A woman's chest isn't an object of desire for sex. It should be seen as a cradle of life, not lust.

No, couldcause accidents: I say no. Bare breasted women would get much attention from drivers and others using dangerous equipment. This is much like texting while driving, it is dangerous because it is distracting and frankly, some women are not very good looking and should not bare their breasts. This is not a vital subject but could be a safety issue.

So much bullcrap.How often do you hear a woman say to a man without a shirt on "hey baby nice nipples?" That is why women should not be naked from the waist up in public. This is political correctness on steroids. This is just an excuse for certain women to be exhibitionists.
